Summer Gentle – Gillis
Hello, world—I’m Summer Gentle.
Music has been my heartbeat for as long as I can remember. Born in the lush landscapes of Guyana and raised in the vibrant twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, I spent nearly twenty years immersed in the warmth of my family and the soul-stirring rhythms of the Caribbean. From schoolyard talent shows to spirited competitions, each stage became a stepping stone, deepening my love for singing and performance.
Life has gifted me with a beautiful journey so far—including sharing it with my soulmate, Aubrey Gillis. Though we haven’t yet welcomed children, our love continues to grow, and together, we dream boldly. I recently completed my second degree and am preparing to launch a new chapter in Dietetics and Nutrition. Yet, through every twist and turn, music has remained my constant—my sanctuary, my strength, my joy.
Today, I stand on the edge of something new: creating and sharing original music that speaks from my soul. With open arms and an open heart, I’m stepping fully into my purpose. This is only the beginning—and I’m so excited to have you with me on this journey
